In this abstract minimalist black-and-white work, I explore the strange contrast between noise and meaning, between empty words and the rare moments that truly resonate. The vinyl record becomes more than an object — it transforms into a metaphor for depth, authenticity, memory, and emotional frequency.
Scratched directly into the surface of the record is the phrase: “Too much stupid talk, not enough good music.” For me, this sentence is both ironic and painfully honest. It reflects the exhaustion from constant superficial noise — conversations without substance, opinions without feeling, and endless distractions that drown out what is real.
The black-and-white palette reinforces this tension through simplicity and contrast. The rough brushstrokes, imperfect textures, and minimalist composition create a raw, almost unfinished emotional atmosphere, where silence speaks louder than decoration.
