In this provocative art object, I transform a real vintage vinyl record into a philosophical statement about the value of music in a world overwhelmed by meaningless noise and superficial communication. Painted in intense shades of red and black, the piece carries the handwritten phrase: “Listen to Good Music, Not Stupid Talk.”
Here, music becomes a symbol of depth, emotion, authenticity, and inner freedom. In contrast, “stupid talk” represents empty conversations, constant distraction, performative opinions, and the exhausting noise that fills modern life without creating real connection or understanding.
At the center of the composition, the screaming mouth crossed by a musical note acts as both protest and manifesto — a visual rejection of pointless noise and a call to choose feeling, art, rhythm, and emotional truth instead. The image intentionally balances irony with aggression, creating tension between chaos and harmony.
