In this sensual and philosophical work, I depicted an abstract vinyl record using charcoal and pastel on beige paper.
The sketchy, flowing lines suggest movement and rhythm, while the deep contrast of red and black evokes the intensity and warmth of music.
The inscription “Music can warm” emerges gently from the composition, emphasizing the emotional power of sound, its ability to touch, comfort, and ignite the senses.
Inspired by the textures  of vinyl, the subtle curves of a record player’s tonearm, and the nostalgic aura of retro style, the piece invites the viewer into a world where music becomes a tangible presence. Jazz, abstract shapes, and layered colors intertwine to create a dialogue between sound and vision.
The work is both intimate and expansive, merging the spontaneity of sketching with the emotional resonance of music, illustrating how a simple melody or a fleeting note can warm the heart and linger in memory. It celebrates the timeless charm of vinyl.
