In this abstract minimalist work, I explore a moment of contact with something all-encompassing — bright, overwhelming, and almost impossible to touch.
It unfolds in a space of yellow and orange gradients, drips, and luminous tensions — a state in which light ceases to be a background and becomes matter itself. It is neither soft nor decorative; it is alive — fluid, hot, almost molten.
The white handprint here is a sign of both fragility and determination — an attempt to enter into contact with something that cannot be fully controlled. It does not capture a gesture, but rather the very fact of touching the edge of experience.
The phrase “Touch the Sun” in this context is not a literal image, but a metaphor for radical courage — the desire to approach the intensity of life, its pure energy, even when it extends beyond the boundaries of comfort.
For me, this work is about the moment when a person chooses not to step back from the brightness of the world.
