In this elegant and minimalist composition, I explore the emotional language of music through an abstract portrait that balances simplicity with expressive energy. The anonymous figure is reduced to a geometric silhouette, while the bold square of vibrant red creates a striking architectural structure that frames the composition and intensifies its emotional presence.

The white saxophone becomes the visual and symbolic focal point, representing  voice, passion, and self-expression. Strong black outlines contrast with fluid paint drips, creating a dialogue between precision and spontaneity, control and freedom. The monochrome palette, interrupted only by the intense red background, reinforces the tension between silence and sound.

Working with geometric forms, expressive brushwork, and layered textures, I wanted to create a contemporary interpretation of a musician—not as a realistic portrait, but as a universal symbol of emotion transformed into music.
