This black-and-white photograph is an elegant and sensual portrait of myself, created on the seaside promenade in Cyprus in 2023. The cat you see in the frame was never planned. While shooting, I noticed a stray cat stretching beautifully in the sun, and I decided to interact with her playfully. That spontaneous moment shifted the entire mood of the session — giving birth to images that feel both intimate and slightly erotic.
The presence of the cat, the lines of the female body, the elongated legs, the textures of light and shadow — all came together to form what I consider an ‘autoportrait through photography,’ capturing my artistic identity in a raw, unexpected way.
