In this work, I explore the delicate tension between intimacy and elegance by creating a sensual collage in mixed media. This abstract, minimalist piece combines elements of erotic art, classic retro glamour, and subtle notes of pop art. A real vintage vinyl record is affixed directly to the canvas and inscribed with the phrase “Naked Soul Melody” — an allusion to emotional and physical vulnerability.
The composition includes fragments of genuine women’s lingerie: Italian lace with golden thread, golden garter fasteners, and a corset clasp. These elements create not only a visual but also an emotional texture, evoking the sensation of touching something private and concealed. It invites the imagination into a sensual scene where an elegant woman undresses to the sound of a vinyl melody.
Pearlescent paint drips add fluidity and sensuality to the surface. The lace is not only present as a material but also leaves behind ornamental imprints, like memories of touch and traces left behind.
The beige-black-and-white palette enhances the contrast between light and shadow. This elegant and sensual textile piece is a celebration of femininity, music, and the atmosphere of intimate moments. Here, vintage meets the contemporary, and silence speaks louder than words.
